The project is trying to raise £250,000, to be split equally between two charities – the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Make-A-Wish. These charities were chosen from all of the worthy causes in the world as they relate to subjects that we personally feel very strongly about. It will be these personal connections with the causes that we’re fundraising for that will keep us motivated when we’re out on the ocean, and will keep our legs turning when we’re exhausted.
